Ras Mohamed is an Egyptian nature reserve in southern Sinai, 12 km from Sharm El-Sheikh. It adjoins the Gulf of Aqaba to the east and the Gulf of Suez to the west. A nature reserve was established in 1983. Diving and swimming are popular activities in Ras Mohammed.
